CHEDDAR CHEESE:   

       Cheddar cheese prices in Oceania are mixed. The market overall 
is comfortable for manufacturers and buyers. Price movement is more 
of trading activity than any new trend. 
       January-September NZ cheese exports, 249,045 MT, decreased 4.7 
percent from the same period one year earlier, according to Eucolait. 
The range of monthly percentage changes in cumulative export volumes 
varies from -18.9 percent in February, to -2.1 percent in July. 
Export volumes and primary destinations are shown in the following 
table:

       January-September Australia cheese exports, 109,130 MT, 
decreased 3.2 percent from the same period one year earlier, 
according to Eucolait. The range of monthly percentage changes in 
cumulative export volumes varies from -4.8 percent in July, to +8 
percent in January. Export volumes and primary destinations are shown 
in the following table:

       January-September China cheese imports, 84,786 MT, increased 
20.4 percent from the same period one year earlier, according to

       At GDT Event 199 on November 7, the cheddar all contracts price, 
$4,001, decreased 2.8 percent. The December contract, $4,278, 
increased 1.5 percent.
