   Compared to last week, Slaughter steers sold steady to 1.00 lower.
Demand good. High dressing Lean Steers are steers sold primarily to the
ethnic market and most are extremely lean. Those steers sold 1.00-2.00
lower. Demand moderate. Slaughter Holstein steers sold 2.00-3.00 higher.
Slaughter heifers sold mostly steady. Demand moderate. Slaughter cows
sold 2.00-3.00 higher. Demand good. Slaughter bulls sold mostly steady
on a light test. Cattle supplies included 231 steers; 135 heifers;
456 cows; 15 bulls; and 16 feeder calves. All prices per cwt.

   Return to Farm Holstein Calves: Compared to last week, Graded Holstein 
bull calves sold mostly 40.00-50.00 higher. Holstein heifer calves sold
steady to 20.00 lower. Ag Market News LLC under the USDA-QSA-LMAR program
graded 459 head for Thursday's sale. All calves are sold by the cwt.
