SC Farm Report on Thursday  
  	
   Cattle at SC Auctions on Wednesday: Compared to last week, feeder 
steers and feeder bulls were unevenly steady to 5.00 higher. Feeder
heifers were unevenly steady.  Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1-2 
400-500 lbs 160.00-173.00, 500-600 lbs 159.00-167.00. Feeder Bulls: 
Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 155.00-184.00, 500-600 lbs 140.00-
168.00. Feeder Heifers: Medium and Large 1-2 400-500 lbs 140.00-
161.00, 500-600 lbs 130.00-150.00. Slaughter cows were steady. 
Slaughter cows: Breakers 75-80% lean N/A; Boners 85-85% lean 59.00-
77.00; Lean 85-90% lean 64.00-78.00; Lean low dressing 31.00-63.00.  
Slaughter bulls were steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter Bulls: 1005-
2030 lbs 64.00-99.00.
   Cow/Calf Pairs: Medium and Large 1-2 905-910 lbs Young to Middle 
Age Cows with 175-345 lbs calves 1025.00-1475.00 per pair.
   Hogs on Wednesday: Plant delivered weighted average. National Direct 
Barrows & Gilts US 1 50-54% lean 240-300 lbs was 0.67 lower at 49.05.  
Sows live price 300-450 lbs 46.56; 450-500 lbs 50.43; 500-550 lbs 52.75. 
   SC Grain on Thursday.  Corn was 6 to 7 cents higher; elevator bids 
3.70-4.45, processor bids 4.26-4.71. Soybeans were 1 to 3 cents lower; 
elevator bids 9.94-10.03, processor bid 10.53, and export at 10.64. New 
Crop wheat was mostly 2 cents higher and one location was 6 cents higher; 
elevator bids 4.15-4.90. 
   Cotton on Thursday. Southeast base price for 41-4/34 grade was 2.26 
higher at 85.62.  
   Fruits & Vegetables:  Prices paid to SC growers at the Columbia
